I love dolphins. The fact that they are so smart and love protecting each other just makes them that much better in my book. Plus, they are so fun to watch! While at Brandcation I actually was able to go on the Portofino Dolphin Cruise sponsored by the fabulous Circle Public Relations.
We had a fabulous Captain and our guide was Meg (love that name by the way). She was so knowledgeable about the area and about the dolphins themselves. Did you know that dolphins use 100% of their brain? Only half of their brain sleeps at a time so they don’t drown. So cool!

Then we were off to find the dolphins. On the way, Meg explained all the different landmarks around us and pointed out the military bases and gave us more information on dolphins. She was terrific. Soon, we saw dolphins! It seemed as if they were all around us!
It was such fun and so amazing to see the dolphins in their natural habitat. We even saw a newborn dolphin that was about a foot and a half long. So cool!
