Lose 5 lbs in 5 days

lose 5 lbs in 5 daysIt is possible to lose 5 lbs in 5 days as long as you are more than 5 lbs overweight and have the okay from your doctor.  I’m going to share how I lost 5 lbs in 5 days.

My diet.  I use meal replacement as a lifestyle change.  I say lifestyle change because it’s important not to just diet but to change the way you eat forever.  I replace two meals a day with a Body by Vi shake.  You can read about What is Body by Vi for more information on the shakes.  As my third meal, I eat 4 to 6 ounces of lean meat, 2 vegetables and a fruit.  I also drink water and only water during the day with lemon in it for flavor.

As for what meals I replace, I like to replace my breakfast and lunch just because it’s simple and I can eat dinner with my family.  You can replace any meals you like with the shake though so it really doesn’t matter.  It’s whatever works for you to lose 5 lbs in 5 days.

My exercise regimen.  Right now, I dance 30 minutes a day.  Sometimes I’ll just put on music and time myself as I dance the time and pounds away.  To lose 5 pounds in 5 days, you must exercise at least 30 minutes a day.  I also use my kinect with the Xbox and play dancing games to make it a competition for me.  That way I’m always trying to beat my high score and it’s really fun!

I also do strength training a few days a week.  This includes crunches, push-ups, squats and the like.  I recommend doing 2 sets of 10 of each exercise and to do it every other day instead of every day.  I work my abs one day, my legs the next and my arms the next to give my muscles a rest in between days.

Now you have a plan to lose 5 lbs in 5 days so go try and let me know your results!  You can read more about me and my weight loss plan.
